R&H Maintenance Logo Design

When I spoke with the owners of this company, they were after something that sort of broke the mold as far as typical handy-man logos and designs were concerned. The imagery she had provided for direction was all very contemporary and bold, and she expressed the desire to have the “R” and “H” connected in some way. To solve this, I eventually came to the idea of making the letterforms seem as if they were bent out of a single piece of some material. This way, I could use the loop of the “R” to create the left, vertical side of the “H.” The end result is bold, yet intricate and interesting.
